Woodside Place Assisted Living, Arlington TX

I work in the healthcare industry and I happily give Toyin and Woodside Place a 5 star review. From the immaculately clean and decorated home to the fabulous outdoor space, and safe neighborhood. Not to mention the excellent care you will receive form Toyin and her incredible staff. Searching for a place for a loved one can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate, not to mention draining on the pocket book. Woodside place is a great option for senior living that is affordable, and will give you the peace of mind that your loved one is being taken care of. Toyin can walk you through it every step of the way. Her compassion, and drive to help anyone she can is nothing short of spectacular! I highly recommend Toyin and Woodside place!!

My frail elderly sister was falling frequently from medical issues, unable to live alone. We researched our options –from assisted living facilities to nursing homes. Most noticeable of all was the short staffing industry-wide, many patients to few caregivers. Several case managers suggested residential care facilities, in particular Woodside Place Assisted Living. The first thing we noticed was that the home is located in a beautiful established neighborhood, seasonally decorated and sparkling clean throughout. Not institutional at all, but welcoming with its homey vibe. Toyin Akinyode, owner and on-site manager, is a licensed pharmacist, inspiring confidence with her medical background. Her joie de vivre is contagious. Not short-staffed here. There are two licensed caregivers on-site 24 hours a day. The maximum of six residents have a call button at their fingertips. Toyin and her staff are so incredibly attentive, encouraging and compassionate with my sister. They keep us informed of anything we need to know and are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We could not have picked a better place for her. We felt peace of mind, knowing that she was thriving in her new home.

I had the pleasure of having my loved one staying at this wonderful facility. After several unsatisfactory experiences with other facilities I finally found Toyin and her staff. My Father was loved, secure and happy in this extremely clean and friendly environment. I was really pleased and would highly recommend. We need more of like Woodside that genuinely cares. After several negative experiences, my family and I are very thankful to have found Woodside Place. It is peaceful, my dad is taken care of and Toyin is very professional and makes sure we are satisfied. The staff are personable and make sure the residents are cared for.

We looked at several places all of which were nice but none could deliver the amount or type of one-on-one care of Woodside Place.Toyin and her staff are so incredibly attentive and compassionate with my uncle. They keep us informed of anything we need to know and are quick to respond to any questions we have had. I could not have picked a better place for him. He loves his room and especially the food! Highly recommend.

My sister and I were looking for a place for my 91year old mom to live after it became clear that she needed to be in an assisted living facility. My mom had been very happy living living at the Town Village Crossing retirement community for the last four years. This was not going to be an easy task finding a place that we felt would be safe and she felt comfortable. After looking at a couple of traditional assisted living facilities and one assisted living home we found Woodside Place Assisted Living. The first thing you notice is that the house is located in a beautiful safe neighborhood and how clean and nicely decorated this home is. The second, is the person that owns and runs the home. Toyin Akinyode, is a genuinely nice and caring person and caregiver. She has a medical back ground in pharmacy that comes in handy when discussing and ordering medication. She treats each of her four to six residents like a loved one. She employs only the best ladies that meet her standards to work there. Mom settled into her room and liked the Woodside Place Assisted Living residence. My sisters, wife and daughter and I all felt relieved for mom to be living there for the short time she was there. When mom's time was coming to an end the team was very helpful and aided us with the hospice professionals. Toyin Akinyode is an angel that we were so lucky to find. If anyone is ever in a similar position that we were in I can't recommend Woodside Place Assisted Living and Toyin Akinyode highly enough.

We had the most wonderful experience at Woodside place assisted living! My grandmother was in their care for the last few months of her life. The owner and her staff are incredible! They took care of my grandmother like she was their own. They work extremely hard to make everyone as comfortable as possible and the home is always in spotless condition! Thank you to Toyin and the entire staff who served my grandmother well! Thankful for this place!

I would give 10 stars if I could ! This is an absolutely wonderful place for your loved one to be cared for . Toyin and her team of precious ladies bend over backwards to provide a happy, healthy , safe and impeccably clean home . My mother in law has been loved and cared for here for months . My mother currently resides at Woodside Place and is very content! Every time I stop by, she is happy! She is quite social so to meet her needs, she is often in the kitchen with the ladies that care for her. It is always clean and tidy there as well. The ladies are kind and friendly. Toyin, the owner, is knowledgeable and complies with all health requirements which is refreshing to see. She also truly cares about the people living at Woodside Place!

My mother who was dealing with Alzheimer’s stayed here for almost a year. It was such a huge blessing to my mom, to me, and to my family and friends. They took exceptional care of my mother. My mother had previously been in a couple of large institutions. Woodside was a remarkably better experience. I would highly recommend Woodside to anyone. They showed exceptional care and love for my mom as well as a strong professionalism. It’s hard to care for our aging / dying parents, but I’m so grateful that Woodside was there for us. They changed the experience for us, and I’ll forever be thankful.

Woodside Place was a blessing to our family. Toyin and her staff took wonderful care of our mother. The love they showed our mother helped us know we make the right decision for our mom. Thank you for everything to did for our family and Mom. We will always appreciate Woodside Pace. I must also mention that their food is great. My mother was so happy with the home cooking they did for the residents and the home feel.

The people here are extremely caring. They take wonderful care of the residents. Very loving and caring with my mother.
